| Lake Geneva has a length of 40 miles, from Villeneuve to Geneva. The correct name is the French version: « Lac Léman », as Geneva has just a few miles on the western end of the lake. Lake Léman is the largest lake in Switzerland and the biggest sweet water reserve in Europe. Reason: he is much deeper (315 m, over 1000 ft) than lake Balaton (Hungary) or lake of Constance. Water quality is very good. Frequent and detailed controls attest it. Bathing is everywhere possible.

Even in the best season or on a summerly sunny week-end, you will still have a lot of free space around you.
